Pooter Blog Spring 2009

We are as excited as ever as the 2009 summer season
approaches. The natural beauty of Northern Michigan
calls us once again to refresh and renew us after a long
winter. And we are ready!

Pooter has condensed into one store and it is chock-full
of treasures and surprises.:

European Discoveries
We were lucky enough to find two Swedish clocks in
original paint this year, along with some wonderful
Danish farm tables.

Antique Jewelry, Accessories
We have expanded to include some fabulous new jewelry
lines in all price ranges including one which features antique
French and English shoe buckles. They are spectacular and
one-of-a kind.

Classically Eclectic Accents & Gifts
Our gift section includes some great accents in mercury
glass along with other surprises.

Inspired New Artists
From seascapes to richly illustrative landscapes and still life, we continue to grow our gallery of talented artists with pride.

Decoys by Kevin Kerrigan
The store has an exclusive collection of painted reproductions of antique waterfowl decoys carved by nationally renowed Kevin J. Kerrigan. Kevin specializes in precise
replicas of the works of master carvers from the past.
My favorites are the piping plovers and white swans, but all of the decoys are a beautiful
complement to any décor.

Life is good. The store is more beautiful than ever. And we’re looking forward to the best season yet.

Looking forward to seeing you at the store!
